Jetpack daredevil flies over the English Channel

Swiss daredevil Yves Rossy - known as “Fusion Man” and “Jet-man” - made history on 26 September 2008 when he flew from France to England to be the first person to cross the English Channel using nothing more than a jetpack strapped to his back.

Wingsuit Flyer Faster Than Speeding Plane

With nothing more than a wing-suit and helmet, base-jumper Ueli Gegenschatz - aka ‘Sputnik’ - leapt out of a plane at 14,763 feet in the air and flew unaided for 10.9 miles over Galway Bay, Ireland, beating a local plane to the airport, and earning the world record for the longest wing-suit flight in history.

The World’s Largest Skateboarding Ramp

The largest skateboard ramp in the world can be found on a 12-acre farm north of San Diego among the green foothills of the San Marcos Mountains. The ramp’s owner is Bob Burnquist, a renowned 30-year-old professional skateboarder from Brazil.

World’s Longest Mountain Bike Jump

The man who achieved this feet on the 2nd of February, 2006 in North Wales was Jason Rennie. The Welsh motocross wizard jumped 133ft 6ins over a 106ft ramp gap! He was pulled in by his motorcross team mate Jim McBain and reached a speed of 83mph before detaching to hit the ramp. Jason landed the jump perfectly to cement himself into the world record books.
