Solar Electric Flight Expedition Jacket Up for Auction!
Following the successful completion of the Solar Electric Flight, the Incredible Website would like to offer an exclusive chance to own one of the jackets worn by the team throughout the expedition. The jacket will be listed on the eBay auction site and proceeds from the sale will benefit Ataxia UK.
The Solar Electic Flight took place this summer and saw a British team of intrepid pilots fly the World’s first commercial solar-powered electric paramotor across the Strait of Gibraltar from Spain to Ceuta, Morocco - the culmination of an exciting 15-day expedition starting from Monte-Carlo travelling through France, Spain and finally landing in Morocco, covering an estimated 2000km.
The expedition’s objectives was to raise awareness of ataxia; a debilitating disease that affects part of the nervous system that normally control co-ordination and balance, and prevalent in more than 10,000 adults in the UK and many more children. The Solar Electric Flight has currently raised over £20,000 for Ataxia UK, the national charity for people affected by ataxia.
